At center for flood evacuees in Baton Rouge, La....

April, 2006 -- Found a set of looms on sale at a big box store. Sitting at the evacuee center could become wearying. Now, with the looms and yarn, I could keep myself busy while waiting to be relocated to a FEMA trailer park nearby. I made hats for other evacuees at the trailer park. This made them happy, and kept my mind off of my worries -- like, when can I go home. These days, I teach knitting at a local senior center!
