Beginner Hat and Scarf Set!

Thank you so much for the opportunity to make my beginner hat and scarf set! I purchased my circular loom and scarf loom from Walmart a year ago but because of circumstances beyond my control could not peacefully start the project until two months ago.

I begin to wrap in circular motion for the scarf set which made a twist pattern (like an X), it was so beautiful that I made a few more with each time adding more yarn and different colors to the project.

The same went for the hat as well, I begin with the circular formation of the circled loom, added two yarns with different colors for thickness and read the instructions for the hat and it was successful. I made two hats with following the instructions and look to make more!

I am very pleased with the outcome of my hat and scarf that I will be making more for my extended family throughout the New Year.

I hope to graduate by making an afghan too!
Take care.

Easy scarf NEW
by: Texmom

Although an experienced crocheter, I just got a round loom set recently. I made an infant hat for our newborn grandson that was a big hit, with matching scarf. Without experience, I figured I could just make a scarf by going around the circle loom, but stopping before the last peg, turning and working it back the other way. Keep turning to work the other direction when you get to the empty peg. It worked great and no need for a different scarf loom.
