Beginner Loom Knitter

Hello. I started looking into loom knitting once I was put on maternity leave, I really want to make things for my baby while I'm waiting for her to come.

I ordered 2 sets of knitting looms of Amazon.com (Boye Round Loom Set, and Boye Long Loom Set). I made my first hat last night and had lots of fun doing it, and now I'm wanting to do more! I've been looking for instructions on making some booties for her, but all the ones I find are using small round looms. The smallest round loom I have is 24 pegs and the smallest long loom I have is 26 pegs. Do I need to buy a smaller loom?

Any local craft store that carry's the loom should have smaller ones. I got mine at Hobby Lobby and I know that Joann Fabrics carry them and Michaels

And yes, a smaller round loom IS availible from Cricut machin e.com, the original (and totally killer) - Knifty Knitters. Boye has comparable size, But what you want are Bllom loo - @ 12 pegs, and the Spool loom - a 2-sided loom with 5 pegs and 8 pegs.

Have fun!
