broken yarn in sock loom

My daughter got a sock loom and is began knitting a sock but the yarn broke and she cannot make the loop stitches. Is there a way to fix the broken yarn and complete the row?

Hi There!

The wasist way to fix it would be with a square knot, and then just keep going, if it is long enough to tie -
