I used the flower loom (used to also make thinner tube scarves, yellow) and knitted about 10 inches with multi-colored baby yarn I got at a local craft store. And I just finished it off like you would with a hat or a tube scarf. It doesn't take much time or effort, my child also made a purple pair with thick yarn as well. We like the Knifty Knitter looms.
