I'm in youth ministry & have taught many pre-teen and teen girls to use these looms to create winter hats. We make them for ourselves, our friends, and for our local soup kitchen customers. I cannot think of an easier knitting craft to teach a variety of kids. They easily get the hang of using the looms, create fabulous hats, boost their confidence, and get to give from their hearts.
