Furby

I have knitted a lot of beanie hats. I have used two different sizes of loom. Unfortunately my hook has broken and I would like to get a new one. Any suggestions? I don't want to have to buy a whole new kit.

I usually buy my loom hook at walmart or any craft store. You don't have to buy a whole kit for the hook.

You can Order one here on Amazon https://www.amazon.com/Wright-Products-3702003001-Boye-Hook/dp/B0073RD8T8/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1479943804&sr=8-1&keywords=loom+hook

All over Ebay now NEW
by: Bill

You can find picks (?) all over Ebay now, very inexpensively, and Joann, if you have one local, has the KB brand with a plastic handle, 1.99 for the cheap one, 3.99 for one with a chunky plastic handle that has a soft feel for easy gripping, but is just a little "off" for my size 9 hands. Men's M-L size, in other words.

alternatives NEW
by: Marsha

When I first learned how to use a loom I didn't have the hooks that they came out with now. We used a crochet hook. try using a size E hook if you are using a worsted weight or lighter weight yarn and use an F or even a G hook with the bulkier yarns.
