Rim for hat. NEW
by: Anonymous

If you pull up the edge of the hat after 20-30 or so rows and put it back on the pegs then just keep stitching normally it will give you hat a rim a stop curling.
Hope this helped :)

Flat edge for hat on a loom NEW

One thing that helps is to do a chain cast-on, then alternate knitting and purling for 4 to 6 rows. After that you can use the regular e-wrap knit stitch for the rest of the hat. The alternating of knit and purl seems to create what some people call a garter stitch, which will lay flat. This works -- I've done it several times!

Yes, the ewrap curl! LOL! There are different stitches that will stop that - so I am going to send you to these sites below, because they have all the data and wonders you need. The basic stitch that will help is known as the rib stitch - (where you knit 2 rows, and purl 2 rows - (on the loom!) Go to Kristen at Goodknitstitches, she has a youtube vid of this -(see below) Happy adventures! Jen
