Help! Getting it off the loom.

My 8-yr old granddaughter has been knitting on a round loom for several days and loves it...hopes to have a cap when she's done. I DON'T KNOW HOW TO GET THE YARN OFF THE LOOM! INSTRUCTIONS ARE GONE....
Is there an easy way to do this? She will be so disappointed if I can't help her!

When you are ready to finish your hat, cut the yarn about 14 inches long. Using a tapestry or yarn needle, run the yarn through each of the loops before taking the loop off the loom. Do this all the way around the loom until all loops are off the loom. Pull the yarn to gather the top of the hat. Secure by running the yarn back and forth through the center of the gather. Weave in ends. Done!
