if you are referring to how to untangle , i do it in 'chunks' or sections. i gather a section until it's too tight and tie. evenually you'll have several mini balls/ sections, you'll need to shuttle them thu the loops that are trapping the yarn. i make sets and tie up like embordery floss not balls. for the real tough spots take a pin and pull gently to loosen loop

Some skeins seem to be tangle prone by: Ball Winder
I wind my yarn into balls before using. It assures me that I have a smooth piece of yarn to work with and no surprises with knots. Just put the yarn into a big bowl or other clean container (to keep it from rolling away when it flops around) and wind using the outside yarn. All of the skeins that tangled on me were when I tried to pull from the center. Take it slow and steady while you watch TV then do your actual knitting from the ball you wound.

detanglers by: Anonymous
I am a member of a Ravelry group, called Knot a Problem, which specializes in detangling yarn.
If you are willing to send it to me, I will be happy to send it back, untangled.
