help with knit stitch

by buffy

I am knitting wrist warmers for my mom using knit stitch. But in the middle of knitting it, I accidentally tore the yarn:(.

My question is do I have to tie the yarn together again and get an ugly knot in the middle of my work or is there another way to "tie " the yarns together??? Please help me:(

hi Buffy, if you do tie it together, use a square knot. You can always weave the ends end, and it won't really be niticable at all. Don't try and cut the tails off short, if the knot coes come undone, you will end up with that area unraveling!

Now - there is a thing called the 'Russian join' - wher you are twisting the yarn into itself and the other piece. you can find that on youtube vid - yarn+russian join. OR!
There are some links below - the Facebook one has interactive 24 hours people on there who do everything looms - and we have all the links -check them out, and good luck with the wristers! Jen
