Horrible customer service

I tried using my nifty knitter looms last year. If I all I wanted to make were hats and scarves I would be OK. The booklets that you can find for the Knifty Knitter looms are very sparse as far as Patters go. I am trying to make a flat panel baby blanket using the long looms, but cannot find directions on how to make it truly flat. The sides, bottom, and top all curl up. This is very frustrating, especially for something that is supposed to be simpler to do than regular knitting with knitting needles.
I have gotten a couple of Leisure Art Loom Knitting books and their directions aren't much better.

Provocraft is not doing looms at the moment - but fear not! (we love them - but there are more tips garnered from those of us who loom knit.

Straight ewrap will curl on the edges - you need to have a ow of purl alternating. To get more what I am talking about, check out these links below - especially Bethany's 'gettin' it pegged' site. Kristen at Goodknit kisses also has a ton of vids on tips and technigues on her youtube channel -

This is Kristen's youtube channel. She makes amazing videos, most on the KKs, but also Martha Stewart loom, etc. Tons of how-tos, and she has an amazing stitch (vid) directory, Starts at the beginning KKs round and longloom, and then goes way beyond, all in full color!It is loomilicious!
