How can I stop my knitting from curling? (on a circular loom)

I have just started making scarves on round knitting looms, but they all seem to curl up!

How can I stop this?

There are a couple of stitches that will allay the curl - one is a purl stitch, and one most used is a Rib Stitch. this is two knit stitches, then 2 purl stitches. the basic erap DOES curl -LOL!
