For the past 8 years I have been teaching some tough kids in an alternative high school setting. They needed an outlet so I started an art class. I have about 20 looms now, so I took them all to school, and off they went. One student was a 20 year old homeless boy. He knit the most awesome cap for winter and I made him a matching scarf. Then we all made baby caps for the newest babies. Loom knitting soothes the savage beast and restores the soul!
