How many pegs? I don't get it!!!

by Morgan
(Nevada)

Maybe I'm doing the math wrong or something... I don't know. I bought the KB Authentic sock knitting loom. I followed the instructions and measured my foot, 10 inches around the ball of my foot. I multiplied by 7 (70) and subtracted 15 percent (60), WELL.... My feet are not very big... I'm 12!!! (They're about size US 6 1/2) My problem is... THERE'S ONLY 58 PEGS ON THE WHOLE BOARD!!!!!!!!!!!! Am I missing something???

Still Can't Find Answer NEW
by: Pat

I have the same problem Morgan. None of the suggested links suggested provide an answer though. There are lots of videos out there about how to stitch with the loom, but none on how to measure the foot and perform the calculations. I'm also uncertain how to figure out how many stitches to put between the heel and the toe.

Is there anyone out there with answers to these questions?
