I love them, I have made jumpers that I just love. "Hate Knitting, Love Looming"..

Winter Jacket made with chunky wool.

Winter Jacket made with chunky wool.

My mother brought a ring and instruction book from Readers Digest, but being a life time conventional knitter she could not get the hang of it. So she gave It to me, when I eventually got the hang of it, I could not put it down.

I have encouraged lots of my friends to buy one and take up the new hobby. It is cheap and you can create so many things, of which are all practical.

I have never master the art of knitting with needles, I love crochet as it is quick to see results. The same with the rings. I would recommend these to everyone who loves handicraft.

The Knifty Knitter Looms are the best, they feel nice to handle. I brought another set which where the same price, made of a cheaper plastic material. They are not that nice to work with, whereas the KK rings are.

I have made Long tuberous circular scarves, other types of scarves, hats, fingerless glove/arm warmers, jackets, jumpers, neck warmers, the list goes on.

What I would really love to see are rings that you can use with cotton and 4ply or double knit. I have used these wools on the current rings, the work comes out very loose, pretty but it would me nicer if we could get a similar result as the thicker wool.

A great invention, thank you so much. I shall continue to create other projects and new stitch patterns.

Pattern NEW
by: Sindie Allum

Hi there,

Do you remember where you found this pattern?
There are some available but mostly for sale. I live in South Africa so by the time the currency has been converted, it's more than I am able or willing to spend.
