I need some help in starting my stitches,

by Mary L Booth
(Fort Worth, TX)

I need help in winding my yarn to make a scarf. I have the long loom. Some directions say to wrap every other peg and go back and wrap the empty pegs. And I see others wrap each peg. I get very long loops in the midle of my work. It does not look like it should after I knit a couple inches. Which is the best way to start putting the yarn on the pegs?

Thank you
Mary
