the pick of the knifty knitter is quite solidly made. I've made 65 hats (mostly child and adult) in the last 2 months. At no time did the pick bend or come apart. I do have hand problems so I wrapped the handle with duck tape until it was about 3/4 inch in diameter. This made it much more comfortable to handle. Would like some other ideas to increase the size of the handle.
