knots in loom

whenever i go to make a scarf i always have these rows like knots in them. unknown why it happens, but whenever i go to the next row there is always one peg left and i cast it on to get to the first peg and when it is completed there is that knot like row, only happens when doing scarf. on hats it does do show as much. what am i doing wrong?? sorry i do not have a picture to show.

Hmmmm!

Beverly, have no idea - BUT!

If you are on Facebook, go to the search window (upper left,) and enter "Loom Groups" There are several, and they are all interactive, and helpful and fun! (all skill levels, great projects and tips.

2 good ones, off the top of my head, are Goodknit Kisses, and knifty knitter loom group.

I have personally never run into this, but think it may be something you need called a slip stitch edge. It makes edges nice and tidy, not knotty. (I don't really know why, but it has something to do with the edging.) there are several links to it, here is one: (But I would also say, get thee to facebook! LOL! Hope this helps!
