Long Rectangle Loom question

My long rectangular loom is getting skinny in the middle, I can barely get my thumb in to push the yarn down. Advice plz? Can I pull the loom back to its original shape?

Oh my! You are knitting the stitches way too tight and that is making your loom pull in. If you continue on, you could break a peg on your loom. It does take practice but it is not difficult. When you wrap your peg do so with no pull or tension on the yarn, just lightly wrap the yarn next to the peg, wrap without pulling on the yarn. Same when you knit over. Yarn and stitches will look loose but will tighten up as you knit along. Good luck, you can master it, just practice!!

Your tension is way to tight so that’s why your center is doing that my dear.
