Making a hat on loom

Have an instruction book and interested in making a hat - after I make the 4 inch brim it says to add one strand to the two strands. Don't know how to do it

Thanks, Renee

Making a hat on a loom NEW
by: Jenny Tavernier

Hi Renee!

What I would do, is simple tie a little square knot onto your existing working yarn, with the knot behind the peg, as you start your first brim rows - leave a tail, and you can weave it in when you are done. Ta-dah, 2 strands!

Come for happy loomy winter madness at these links (FB) - tons of crazy happy loomers, help, questions, patterns, photos, loomalicious delight!

Also, you tube has tons of loom videos - *They were scarce when I started!! lol just go to youtube, and type in loom knit+adding a yarn, or hat, or how do I loom knit a shawl, fingerless mitts, etc.
Virginia's simply intertwined is a greatez vid source - (Below) Jen!

12/01/13 - Here's some very cool links -

Tons of how-tos, and she has an amazing stitch (vid) directory, Starts at the beginning KKs round and longloom, and then goes way beyond, all in full color! It is loomilicious! Tons of patterns also! - Excellant explanetary and seeable vids - makes it a point to go slow, and in depth.

And Virginia's - All Great Vids/youtube (and there is a directory, also) Easy to usehttp://www.youtube.com/galligsgirl
or - Simply Intertwined - homey, makes great vids,

This is last a great and friendly one. There are a whole lot of loom groups/yarn, on FB. This is one of the originals, and still going strong! They are all splendid, so find the right one for you!
