most economical loom stitch

I would like to know which stitch is the most economical. Using the same loom, same yarn, is there a stitch that would use less yarn than a different stitch?

Thank you Jenyfer. I bought my loom at a thrift store without instructions and found the figure 8 stitch tutorial on line for my first project. I've since used the same stitch to make a rag rug with fabric strips. I've tried a few different stitches since then- basically just practicing one and unraveling to try another. I would like to learn the cable stitch but haven't found a clear set of text instructions with photos. Thanks again.
