Need Help with Loom Knitted Beret

I am using a pattern from "more knitting wheel fashions" its called the Irish Lass Beret. I have finished the cuff of the hat on the circular loom but now it requires to flat knit 6 wedges by working across 6 pegs. The instructions where I get lost is for the first wedge:
Row 1: Knit 6, increase 2: 8 pegs used
Row 2: Knit 8, increase 2: 10 pegs used
Row 3-32: Knit 10
the instructions for the wedge increases:
The Wedges will be increased by two pegs on each side these pegs may already have a loop on them. If so this loop will not be knitted. Instead it will be left at the bottom of the peg. E-wrap the pegs to be increased but do not bring loop over top loop. when knitting the increased stitches on the following row(s), e-wrap the peg and bring middle loop over the top loop and off the peg.
I am not sure if the increases are at the end of the row or on one on either side.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you
