Need help with making a purse

I've made hats on the circle loom before and found a book to make a small purse (bangle bag) with the loom and thought I'd give it a try. I'm confused on the instructions and wondered if I could get some help.

The instructions start with the top of the bag. I flat knit 6 rows on pegs 1-12 and then cut the yarn. Then flat knit 6 rows on pegs 13-24 and cut the yarn. The next instruction says "on next row, wrap all pegs and knit off."

I understand that as wrap all the pegs and knit one row and then bind off. I don't understand why I should do that. It doesn't seem as though that would be attached to anything or used for anything.

If you can lend a hand, thank you very much.

Sandy

Thanks so much. I'll have to take a look at this links. We've made hats and scarves before, but it looks interesting to make other things. I'm excited to check out some new patterns.
