Needing suggestions

Because of health issues I'm stuck inside, I make hats and our church sends them out where ever they are needed, but I'm getting bored with just the hats. I want to learn how to make different things, (I'm new to the loom and love it) but every time I see "Free patterns" I find that I have to have a credit card. Would anybody maybe know where I might find some beginner patterns for leggings, socks, anything that could help keep a child warm:)

I can almost always find different patterns hanging around places like Hobby Lobby or JoAnn's. Good luck!

Sorry for the typos - (like bloom loom, and flesh colored, etc) - I am a resident property manager - and I am constantly interrupted - so I fired that off really quick in between tenants! LOL! I should remember to proofread!! LOL! Jen

Another hint - I have found some knifty knitter ideas by searching other things! (like crochet a thumb) or garter stitch on a loom - . sometimes knifty knitter+loom ideas or ""+patterns - doesn't yield as many as random blog sampling - (knitting looms+blogs)
don't forget to search knifty knitter+free
ONLINE patterns. It really seems to be all in the words!
(or word sequence) LOL! Have fun! Don't forget about cowls, both kids and adults. They are big here in Reno, nv-

Also. if you have the bllom loom (kinda flech colored with 8-10 pegs I think, - you can do kid's tube wristwarmers or fingerless mitts -. I figured out how to do a thunb with simple crocheting on it -

I eyeball - (patterns make me spinny!) But say for an adult (medium woman) I have a KK small long loom,and loom clips - I have it set at 18 pegs in the round/ makes a great med size fingerless mitt - ewrap)

I do 16 round rows, and then slip of one stitch to another peg and finish it as a flat panel -
(@14 rows) (where I will crochet sides closed and put the thumb in)
You can also do tube slipper for kids on the smaller looms - . What stitches are you now doing > (ie - Ewrap, knit stitch/flat stitch/ garter stitch)

Also - go get on facebook - there is a group called "knifty knitter loom creations" (just put it in the search window) - it ROCKS! loom crazy wonder knitters doing all kinds of things with photos, plus there is a great link to a video for Amie lou's mukluks - (cool slipper things with the great deco bands) Just scroll though!) If you ask for patterns - (it's interactive when you become a friend) - they will fall over themselves helping! It's really easy if you haven't been there -
