Question About "Learn to Knit on Circle Looms" Book

i have the book about "learn to knit on circle looms". my question is im trying to do the pattern on page 22 the stripped baby pattern and it says to cast on 27 on pegs so when i cast on the last stich is on the peg do i start their and knit do i wrap the yarn twice over the peg thank you. diane leveillee

This is a great and clear easy vid on wrapping for flat panels, and where and how to start knitting, how to return, and part 2 shows you how to cast off a different way - It was very cool - and since she is making a baby blanket on a knifty knitter loom, this may be of help!
