I went to a knitting get together at a friends church...all those ladies knitted with needles... I can't do that!!... one lady did a hat with a tail...I knew I had to figure it out on a loom..and I did... you end up with a seem...but the flip of the hat hides the seam... !!...Just had to share!

How to...
by: Anonymous

I knitted 25 rows past the brim in the round..then I started reducing a stitch each row..and knitting a flat pannel until I reached 3 pegs...when I got to 3 pegs I knitted them 1, 2, 3 and back to 1 until I got the tail as long as I wanted..then you have to stitch up the opening.
Hope this helps.
