The "Tadpole" Knitting Board

by Joan Wolckenhauer

What else can one make on the "Tadpole" besides scarves? Does anyone know of a website that teaches the "Open Rib Stitch?" I am having trouble learning it, even with the DVDs. I try to learn a new stitch every day. Hence, I have four projects going at the same time. All different stitches... Prevents boredom, as well!

Classes for Tadpole and other Knitting Boards
by: Cathy Razor

If you go on KnittingBoard.com and click on the Classes link, you may find some classes in your state with people experienced in loom knitting that can help your learning curve. For instance, I teach at two places in the Las Vegas Valley area in Nevada. There are several other towns that also have instructors. I teach both the Knitting Boards and the Knifty Knitter. In usually 3 to 4 hours, my students are well on their way. I am always so impressed to see all the projects they come up with and their enthusiasm for making things with the looms afterward.
