What type of loom and where?

I'm new to knitting on looms an wanted to ask if there's a certain brand of round/rectangle looms I should get, and where can I buy it?

round and long looms NEW
by: Jessie

Hi!
I have found that the best round looms are In The Attic Flexilooms. They are very hard to find a complete set, but they are by far the best i have used. They are made of flexible material that is all one piece, so this way, the pegs don't break off. The knitting tool is also all metal with a comfort cushion on it, so it won't hurt your hands after a while. Second best is Knifty Knitter round looms.

As for long looms, I really like Knifty Knitter long looms. I have used the set I have since 2009 and they are still in excellent condition. They are in 4 sizes and can be used for all sorts of stuff (I use mine to make scarves and washcloths a lot).

I would not buy Darice or Boye looms, because they tend to be of poor quality and break easily, as one of my friends discovered when she bought a set of them for her autistic son to knit on.

Which looms should I buy? NEW
by: Elizabeth

Hello I used Boye's Kniffy Knitter. I like that they are not as exspensive as some of the other brands.
