Yarn too tight.

I bought an afghan loom and by the third row everything is way to tight. I am keeping them loose while wrapping but you the third row for some reason things tighten up. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks

Happy new year!

What stitch are you using? There are 2 things I thought right off the top -
1. Which stitch are you using? (If a flat knit stitch, (NOT EWRAP), you have to loosen the wrapped yarn after you have done the stitch, otherise it will become so tight that you can't move.
2. If ewrap, check to see if you inadvertently wrapped the row/stitches backward! (Yarn crossing in front, not behind pegs) Yes, it CAN happen, and it brings everything to a grinding halt. Just gets tighter and tighter!

Check youtube, or Facebook looming groups, for any help or questions - (Goodknit Kisses, Knifty Knitter Loom Creations, It's all about the yarn, baby!) There aretons of loomers and all will be willing tohelp - very interactive!
